At present, more and more 10kV distribution lines in major and medium-sized cities in China use insulated conductors as overhead distribution lines, which effectively solves the corridor and safety problems that are difficult to solve with bare conductors. Compared with underground cables, it has the advantages of low investment and fast construction, but it also brings some new technical problems, one of which is t he lightning disconnection during the operation of insulated conductors, Lightning disconnection has become a security problem faced by power system.
