Description:
Porcelain pin type insulator, also called distribution ceramic pin insulator, consists of a single piece of ceramic or maybe two pieces of ceramic components permanently assembled together by cement. Porcelain pin type insulator is mounted rigidly on a supporting structure by an insulator pin or insulator spindle. Unless otherwise stated, this term does not include the insulator pin.
Usage: Rigid insulator, suitable for distribution lines to insulate and support conductor. The top can have semi-conductor/radio silent glaze or without semi-conductor/radio silent glaze. The applicable voltage is less than 46kV, and strength is generally less than 13kN.
Colour: Brown, Light gray or to drawings
Applicable Standard: ANSI, IEC, BS
Connected fitting type:The pin insulator have zinc thimble thread normally assemble with steel head spindle while have porcelain thread normally assemble with lead head spindle.
Porcelain pin type insulator voltage:
11kv or 12kv pin insulator, 15kv pin insulator, 22kv or 24kv pin insulator, 33kv or 36kv pin insulator.
Porcelain pin insulators type number: ANSI 55-1, ANSI 55-2, ANSI 55-3, ANSI 55-4, ANSI 55-5, ANSI 55-6, according to ANSI C 29.5
Porcelain pin insulators type number: ANSI 56-1, ANSI 56-2, ANSI 56-3, ANSI 56-4, ANSI 56-5 according to ANSI C 29.6
Porcelain pin insulators type number: P-11-Y, P-15-Y, P-22-Y, P-33-Y porcelain ceramic insulator according to IEC 60383 and BS 137

Why choose L&R?
1. L&R porcelain insulator is made from porcelain which is sound thoroughly vitrified.
2. L&R porcelain insulators are free from defects and blemishes. The defects will affect the lifetime of the insulator, l&R QC team will inspect 100%.
3. The process of making porcelain insulator is by wet treatment on the porcelain. There should be non-porous with high fusion points during the production.
4. L&R porcelain insulator surface is smooth and uniform. The surface of the porcelain is free from irregularities and any rough particles.
